well... i decided to move my plants into another closet. they were in my bedroom and that fucking MH light was killing me. theres not enough breeze from my side of the house to cool my room. so its in a new closet now. only drawback...the closet is green instead of white but whatever. theres plenty of light and i have a reflector so hopefully it wont effect the grow too much.

my question is about flowering. Im not really looking for HUGE yeild and HUGE plants like most. since Im a caregiver for a MMJ patient Im just using my greenthumb to enjoy the grow. :P but Im wondering how much exactly i can expect them to grow during flowering? and how soon i should begin it in order to not have mammoth plants?

theyve been vegging since may 1st. the tallest one is approx 5-6 inches. they all have at least 20 leaves on them including the new growths coming in.

I dont want like 4 foot plants, so Im wondering should i begin to flower when they reach 8 inches to 1ft?

another reason for not growing for as long as possible is that we can now get better strains from the dispensaries and these are just bagseed. so we are only looking for enough yeild to get by.

oh and i have 9 plants. the strain has been grown many times by family friends and from what Im told they've always come out with around 70% females. :-\ one can only hope.

Be prepared for them doubling even tripling in size during flower.

It is shocking how fast they can grow. I would flower sooner rather than later. I think more on the 8" side as opposed to the 12" side.

cool. then i doubt it will even be a month of vegging before i flower them. or maybe it will just hit the one month mark. they are growing really fast.

Month is good to veg if you don't want them to be huge.
