Hey guys this is my 2nd grow... was using CFL's for the first 5 weeks of flower and the last 3 weeks ive had a 250w hps on her. She has since exploded with growth. I obviously topped her and shes in a 5 gallon bucket with like 4 gallons of soil/perlite. Also when i put her into flower about a week later i cut off the side branches and left 4 tops. feeding maxibloom every other water and i flushed going into flower.. looks like it had a mag def so gave it epson salt and i think growth is speeding up.. Looks like she has 3 weeks left easy cause there is still alot of new growth ever since i added the hps... let me know what you guys think

8 weeks flower.. fixed mag def recenty and growth has sped up again... buds seem to be fattening up

Well Cheetah the only reason i didnt is because i use an advanced technique called depriving the plant of light for 1/2 of its life.. then boosting it with a better light.. hahaha no that was a joke actually this is my 2nd grow and i wasn't planning on getting an hps till my 3rd grow but it was spur of the moment and a geat decision

hps is the best!!!!!! you'll see in you 3-rd when you flower your plants under the high pressure sodium for the all 12/12 period. Cheers!!! CheetaH

i've grown my lady under 250w hps almost from the beggining. pic on my avatar is from week 9 of 12/12 . unknown strain, deff sativa. you can see more picz in the gallery.
