I hear ppl paying 300-400 dollars for a 1000w hps ballast etc. Well im kinda cheap so i decided to go where everyone goes when they want inexpensive stuff. E-Bay. Anyways i was on ebay when i seen a 1000w unwired DIY ballast for $35 + $20 shipping. I was like nice so i bought 2. They came in 5 dayz and had a handy easy to understand wiring diagram and i assembled it in about 15 min. I attached cord and bulb/socket and now i got 2000watts of nice hps light that only cost me $110. I love it

This is an old post. I just bought one and installed everything inside a computer case. I have a riveter so I just riveted up mounts for everything and I was good to go. I left the power supply in to run the fans and keep everything cool. the 1000 HPS ballast kit cost me $109 + shipping.

yah well whn yo shit breaks or malfunctions or sumthn n aint got no warranty jus go spend another 50-100 each time till u get to 300 lik damn a brand new 1 w a lifetime warranty was a better idea

It comes with a 3 year warranty. I would not trust 3 year old equipment and will replace it before then anyways.
