Hello all, quick question... Do you guys now if you can split the ballast output to power 2 units?

You can, but it halves the power of each outlet. So say you have a 1000watt ballast, you can run 2 500 watt bulbs, not 2 1000watt bulbs.

you can also use the ballast on a flip-flop, where it powers one hood in one room for 12, then flips to the other hood in the other room for the other 12 hrs on a second crop.

Thats just kick ass... i knew that this was simpler than people make it out to be... so get the kit and wire it up... no prob... especially with those pics... Anyone have a clean box idea to put the components in... or should i just tie wrap them to a spare metal shelf... It proabbly would keep cooler if it wasnt enclosed.... I guess i can just have it in the back of the cab stuck to it...lol
