This guy is selling a 600 watt globe (unused) with reflector and ballast on ebay and he says it's had 5000 hours use. I know these things don't last forever and wonder if anyone here might please be able to tell me what the average life expectancy in hours is of a ballast? Can't get the brand of ballast but someone might be able to from the picture: 600 watt hydroponic grow light - eBay, Seed Starting, Grow Lights, Gardening, Lawn Care, Home.
