Will my plants grow in a dark closet with 1 (50watt) grow light?

I'd say "NO it will not die" however it will stop growing or slow way down due to lack of light.
I remove all the bottom leaves and put my plants close together as I only want the top cola anyway!
This help if you have a small light. I have 2 x 30 watts FL. and one 60 bulb for heat only.

Yo man you are going way too far with that. I don't know about you but I have people I would trust with my life and I have no problem telling them. I don't see why you can't trust your own wife in this situation, especially if she has no problems with weed. I understand that the more people know the higher the risk, but there are certain people who can know. I live with multiple people in this house and they all know what goes on and most actively help care for them. I have no concerns about getting caught because they know.

I have seen many people busted because when it comes to your butt or someone elses it will be your. It's just a rule of life. I trust many things but not people.

But you trust who you want dude! I'm not sitting in jail because someone is lied to by a cop & told to roll or someone else will.

Why risk it?

This spring im planning on growing about 20 plants, I am going to start them indoor and then move them outdoor after about a month, just to give them more of a fighting chance outdoor. I am going to get some miracle grow and put them in timmy's coffee cups and put a seedling in each cup, so ill have 20 seedlings started. So the question is, will 6 maybe 8 23 watt cfl's work for 20 seedlings? just for a month indoor like just to get them growing a bit? I'm making a little grow box and will paint the walls white also. Thanks, any advice is appreciated.

In dirt? No worries at all.

Stop asking if you have "enough" light. The more light the better the results period. You can get away with growing under few CFLs. But from my experience the more light the bigger and faster you'll grow.

Stoner Man you should be set with 6-8 cfl's they will grow fasttt when you put them under the sun

Yeah I recomend that you use more lights. This all may be a waste of your time! lol...think about that....
