my plant has a freakin canaopy of leaves on the top it looks like a the top of a palm tree or something, it has leaves on top of leaves on top of leaves on top of leaves, but the branches and such are tiny and now theyre is leavins sprouting out of the branches but they can barely get any light. im using 2 150w cfls with them pretty a couple inches within the light so now i pulled them off a few more inches in order to try to stretch them a bit i guess cause seriously the stem isnt growing it seems, its about 2 weeks old. What do you reccomend

sounds like an indica strain. i recommend you keep the light where it is and let it grow.

yeah thats how my plants are too (check pics in gallery) i expected them to be sativa, as the seeds somehow made it in my luggage from jamaica (dunno how that happened lol!) anyways, i am surprised to see them turning out fat short leaves....

Get rid of the CFL's or sell them or use them as door stoppers and get a 400 watt HID MH/HPS switchable ballast. Better yet - get as big a light as you can afford. Line all your walls with MYLAR so no light is wasted.

Add CO2......and you are off to the races to grow killer weed.

your telling me things i allready know, if i had cash for a mh or hps light than i wouldnt be using cfls, and the cfls are actually doing quite well for vegging.

thats not even close to how many leaves my plant has on top of one another, theres about twice as many leaves and ur plant is taller than mine aswell.

in the past week i dont notice any growth at all in my plants, they seem to just get more bushy with leaves and thats it. like compared to everyone elses plants ive seen at 3 weeks or so are much larger than mine but with less leaves.

Well it could be the strain, have you fed them anything yet? They are probably ready to eat something at 3 weeks old. Do you use a fan?

cfls and 100 watt lamps hps , are cheap and you can use a lot of em.
