i've heard the diff between cali's 100 and NC's 100 is humidity.. my boy grew up in cali and said 100 there was like 85 here because the humidity here is so high, your pants are sticking to you by noon where as cali is a "dry" 100 and its actually comfortable.

well, when I hear that 'dry heat' i chuckle. I don't think 100 is comfortable anywhere, but having spent time in gainesville, i can sure say it's different. to me, anything above 85 in that kind of humidity is just fucking miserable. seriously disgusting. so yeah, i'd take it ... but plants under HPS w/o AC don't appreciate it any.
