Just ordered me 10 lowryder seeds.

Anyone tried them and had any problems with them? I decided to get them just because it'll be a quick and easy grow, with around 8 weeks flowering and autoflowering, and being small, i thought it would be better stealth-wise.

Are they as easy as they sound?

Any comments / tips appreciated.

I haven't tried the later versions of LR #2 and what not, but I grew it awhile back. They need a lot of light as they don't all get very big. On average 3-7 grams dry per plant.

These were mine. The small ones are all LRs and were female. The big one was a WWxLR male. Those two females were pure LR and you can see short, 4in and the other about 7in tall.

The last is a male from Sativa Skunk x LR and it AFed so I kept him contained and bred it with a LRxMaster Kush that AFed as well.

how about the growing times? do they grow as fast as i've read? or will they have to flower for a while after the 8 weeks ?

They will be finished at 8 or 9 weeks from when you germ them. They do not flower for 8 weeks. They will start flowering at around 3 weeks from seed and continue to grow. So that 2 months includes veg & flower time. You can grow them in 18/6 and they will still flower.

Seeds came Monday, checked them today and they all germed using two ceramic plates, a damp tissue. I kept them under the four skunk #1's in my garden bin stealth grow. Just finished planting them all in plastic cups and compost from a bag. Pics will come when they start to sprout.

I have a very stupid question though. One that i haven't found an answer to , with no lack or searching. But how deep do you plant the seeds? i planted my skunk #1's about an inch into the compost, and none of them have sprouted at all. Is this too deep?? with the lowryder #1's i've varied them from 1/4" to 1". is this ok? or shouldn't it matter?

LR is a very good strain to grow, a friend of mine just got done with his LR grow and it turned out great!

It's been about 2 days since i planted the germinated seeds, and 6 have sprouted already. one is upto half an inch and with a second set of leaves growing. not much, but enough the make me happy knowing that in 7 and a half weeks, they'll be ready.

I cut up a can and bent it into a d.i.y vent for the grow bin. Error

not bad looking but tell me thats not aluminum foil lining that can. big no no, causes hots spots & can burn the plants.
