Note: If you water before you LST the brances tend to bend more, so you dont have to worrie about snapping main stems.

how long do you have to wait before you can give it a go?

i am 1 week into flowering could i still do it or is it too late? (they have good stems)

well if you would of accully read it you would know, go back and read it.... and yes it is too late, the stem is too strong, it will just snap if bent.
but thats only the main stem, type some string up to the branches and move them around so the whole plant gets more light if you know what i mean, move the bigger fan leaves lower, so more of the plant can see light and produce bud.

1 week into 12/12 is NOT too late. I am 2 weeks into 12/12 and my stems can still bend. In fact, I just bent a few over yesterday and tied them at 90* They have turned back up to the light today.

Try over watering them for a week.. They will bend any way you want!! Yes, I am still pissed that I overwatered my plants. Once they are healthy again I will engage LST, regardless of how far into 12/12 they are.

Question: do you think a 10" pot is the optimum size for one plant? cause I was thinking of going to 14" and growing 2 plants, or maybe 18" and trying 3 plants. by my calculations (math geek) 3 plants in an 18" pot with approximately 3 inch spacing between them as they spiral would result in 3 six-foot long plants, which sounds good. Any ideas on this?

This looks like a good way to get the most bud out of a plant, but would it work for keeping the height of the plant lower? Because for me that would be a bonus feature.

well its not too late, but your Risking breaking your main stem, you'll be fine tho.. since you've got the main stem bent now tho, you won't have to worrie about it snappin when you tie down the rest of them.
