Sadly i can't tell u if it was any good bc i was living in south fla when those hurricanes were hitting two years ago and killed all of my plants So now i have an indoor setup but i'm growing bag seeds. I want to order two strains and cross-breed them and keep samplings of all three strains so i won't have to buy seeds again and still have a nice variety of weed. So i want to hear what strains u guys have made and how it was to get some ideas.

Roadtrip 4 years in the making. bag seed crossed with unknown male. crossed and back crossed to stabalize. grow out outdoors twice with excellent results. first try indoors went into flower last night. i can't wait.

damn! that came from a bag seed? that looks dank as hell, if my bag seed plants look anything like that i'm going to have to pollinate one of them.

does anybody know how many generations deep u have to go b4 the strain becomes stabilized adn can be considered a new strain. also does the new seeds take on more characteristics of the mom or dad is it pretty much just 50/50.

I think it takes 4 or 5 generations to stabilize.

When you cross 2 strains, the resulting seeds are F1 crosses, and they can be any traits from either parent, like one or the other or neither.

i select matching traits from both the male and female. big leaves on both = big leaves, etc..... i have bred out 4 generations. i have used the male pollen to breed other strains and it is very dominant. out of 10 seeds planted side by side they all look the same so i would say it's pretty stable.

ok how do you cross two diff strains????

i've been doing some research and i think i'm going to order ice and one of the haze strains b/c ones indica and the others sativa and from what i've read they have two very different but knockout highs.what do u guys think. Purple ice haze just sounds delicious to me... i wonder if it would be white or purple or both tho...man i love weed, there's so many possibilties

just find a male with qualities u like and collect the pollen. then apply it with a paintbrush or w/e u like to the buds of a female with qualities u want and voila within a month or two u have a new generation of seeds
