Lightbulb i need info on lights

i want to grow real bad and have wanted to for a long time so when i find out which lights to use i will, i need 2 know what would be the best/cheapest lights for one mother plant and about 4-6clones at a time. and also how many plants could i have flowering under a 250watt hps? or how many flowering under a 400w hps? thanks, any help is much appreciated....

a 400 watt HPS will cover about 3 X 3 feet of flower area. a 250 maybe 2 X 2. you can flower 1 plant or 10 in this area. it all depends on the method and veg time. you can use shop lights to veg your mothers under.

for a cheaper light bulb and cheaper to run use envirolites people such as my self get good results using them

well the size of the grow room can be anything really because ii havent made it ye, i was just trying to find out about lights first!! i would go all out with a 1000 watt but i cant because of the bill so i cant go above 400!! i was planning to have around 8 plants in flowering at all time! small scale sog!! harvest 1 evry week!!

shop lights are fluro tube fixtures like they have in shops! or your garage ect.
