will someone tell me if this setup is good enough to grow my plants or plant

Replace all three of those bulbs with 42w CFL's One of which could probably be a full spec. anyways thatwould probably range you about 2700 lumens per light then put all three lights like 2 inches from that tall sprout.

that sprout looks way too tall . . . you might want to get a deeper pot and think about planting it deeper . . ..

why do you have ur setup infront of a window?! thats not a bright idea!

you could build a box to go around it?

then have your lights at the top that way you could then paint the inside of the box white.. just make sure you make it bigger enough for the plant to grow or do it stages so you add on as the plant grows taller

Yeah but the first thing I would do it move the setup somewhere else because its right in front of a window. Your not trying to get caught are you? Then go and buy some cfls.

Also, buying some kind of box is a very good idea.

big improvment don't you think. If you are computer literate, and I'm not, maybe you could post the picture of the incandescent lights and the cfl's on one page so other folks can see the difference they make. Keep improving!!

Heh yeah I turn my cameras flash off for my growbox pics. Otherwise it freaks out.
