Sugar Daddy and Magiccal stinks....as in smelly

have you been using the sugar daddy through the whole 12/12 period???

Id like to use this, heard it packs on weight and flavour, also, smells like what?? shit?? or stanky weed??

well, it's a really progressive schedule. I used it earlier but it's at a really low rate. Like 2 tsp's per gallon. But for the last 3 days before flush they have you up the rate to 8 tsp per gallon, 1/2tsp magical per gallon, and nothing else.

they even recommend that you use it in veg at lower rates. I didn't use it at that time as I didn't know about it.

it's hard to describe the smell once you've been sitting in it for a while. but it's overwhelmed two floors of the house. it's not skunky. it's just a bit off-putting. kind of like dirty gym socks and mold together?

if you buy it in a hydro shop, just crack the lid. it doesn't smell good even then.

unfortunately since this is my first grow, I doubt that the results will really show what the nutes can do. I've made a few mistakes and I'm not using quality seeds. Perhaps in a month or two I'll start out some of my good seeds and see what I can do. In the meanwhile I've got a nice little perpetual harvest started.

Sounds like a kelp product. Is it inky dark brown or black?

surprisingly no. I know what you mean. The Thrive Alive B1 that Technaflora sells is made of that stuff. And it smells a bit but seems pretty damn effective.

This stuff is almost like the color of piss after a 6 hour hike. Not renal failure orange, but sort of like that.

Now I'm into flush and the house smells much nicer. I just wish I knew if I was supposed to change the water in the res each night during flush or just the one time.
