Default Fresh Paint Affecting Plants?

Hey guys, I'm on day 10 of my first cabinet grow and I want to paint the walls of my cab white for reflection but would the fresh paint harm my little girls in any way? I would think so because it's just like us breathing in that shit right? I'm on a 20/4 light schedule and was going to paint right when the lights go out and put them in my dark closet then put them back in when the lights come back on. Should I do it? Any input would be greatly appreciated. -MK

I really would like to not change their light cycle, by the time I would be done painting it would only be 3 hours until I would have to put them back in I don't think the paint would be dry by then. Would they be safe from the evil paint fumes?
