okaaaay... i've decided to abandon my outside ways due to spider mites and other creepy crawlies... If anyone could offer some info on what size cabinet i will need to keep a 1000 watt hps under control in... (heat issues) I can go about 7.5 ft high.

Dude buy a grow tent, call it a day, or do more research into what you want to do. There are cabinet plans all over the web.

Do a search on yahoo for home grow box.. And check the link out u can get a large grow box will do about 9 plants in a waterfarm system they are beautiful tents.. I ordered a large and a clonebox spent like 500 total.. I will be able to SOG like 9 plants every 2 weeks once i get it up and running correctly..

I am rather new but I am worried about 600 in a cabinet w/ a cooltube. Don't think I would attempt a 1000. Possible a tent or clost is a better idea as people suggested. If your stuck on a cabinet, I would base it off of one already on the market as the designs are probably proven.

I am actually building one now, the link is in my footer. You may see an idea you like or give me help.

Im sure that if you spend enough money on the fans/blowers.... and you will need a blower for that thing in a small cab.... the biggest cabs ive found are only 2 feet deep... hell my 400 watt covers a 3x3 no problem.... I have been checking out some huts and stuff and just cant make my mind up.... Ill be posting a new thread about different rooms...

bottom line.... we need more info to help.... if you have to keep it low key and small like a cab like mine or a double like FMJ's then i would recommend selling that 1000 watt

if you can go not only 7 feet high.. but 7 feet wide... and deep... then you got something going....

after i finish my current crop ill be changing my cab into just a vegging cab with an experimental flowering room up top... and then just get something bigger for my 400 watt... hell 3x3...i bet i can grow a 4x4 no prob with it... good luck and
