Howdy all, i've got 4 seeds that just sprouted out from my peat pots, they are seeds I brought home from Jamaica.

After they grow for a while, and are ready for cloning, I am going to put them under flouro grow tubes in another cabinet, then use my other cabinet for flowering, and switch it to the 400 w HPS.


my set up:

400 w MH/HPS ballast and lights
2 mil mylar
homemade air cooled hood( 4" intake and exhaust fans)
4" exhaust fan
4- 1 3/4" intake holes

fox farm ocean forest potting mix
periltie
vermiculite
fox farm nutes 3 pack-grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom.

I just have my seedlings under a 100 watt light bulb for the moment in small circular peat pots. My soil and nutrients will be here monday.

How long before putting them under MH, How long before beginning Nutrients?


3rd grow, but 1st time with a legit set up (lights, cabinet, nutes ect...)


Any info you can give will definately be beneficial..

Put them under now..for a couple of hours a day then back to cfl.. sort of wiem them into it. Start at 25 inches.. watch them.. they will love it.

NOW..!!

right from the off even before they show keep it 3-4ft above at first then move it down over say a week or 2

i done mine with a 400w hps in a week to 1ft above the tops of your plants

a good thing to do is to tie a bit of string with a weight hanging from it and have it at a 1ft drop from the top of you light that way you will always have it at a ft

also it lets you know when to move you light up a little and to see what plants are growing faster
