Default Start Growing - Need Help

Hi,
i want to start growing indoor but the only space available is just 2.3 feet (70cm) tall. is it enough?
I've heard about growing horizontaly. Can it be a solution for me?
How does it work?

ues mesh and the bud grows on top but is a lot of work

under the FAQ there is some great information on LST (low stress training) that will keep your plants low and increase yield... but the easist way of course to have shorter plants is to grow the right strains (mostly to all indica versus sativa)
