hey i am real new to growing and have been mostly reading up on soil growing for the last 2 months. Ive heard of a lot of different growing techniques on this site and saw DWC. What is the basic idea/setup of a DWC grow. What is it? Thanks

Basically a container w/ net pods filled w/ hydroton, and airstones. The roots are suspended in air till they reach the nutrient rich water below. Airstones are added for oxygen. Deep Water Culture.

damn thats awesome. i really need to do more research. i want to experiment with different styles of growing once i get my own place. Peace

What is the difference between deep water culture
and hempy buckets?

Hempy buckets are full of vermiculite and part purlite with small rez at the bottom of the bucket. The vermiculite and purlite are the growing medium.

Both are great for growing fast healthy cannabus. The hempy is user friendly.
