@seedlessone Well, my babies are getting big and my house is really dry at the moment. So between them drinking and the air sucking up the water I'm pushing about a gallon of water to my flowering room every day.

I did read the warnings but am a bit numb to warnings. Everything has warnings these days so I don't pay too much attention. I know, I should pay better attention.

Also, I apply my PH down with a really large plastic eye dropper. so when it was mostly empty I would spray it into the air to try and let it dry out and prevent mold and shit. NOT a good idea now that I think of it. I basically sprayed an acid solution onto my hands for about a week straight.

@Godkas +rep. Brilliant solution.

@drochoker Actually you can make a base solution out of PH up and water. I don't know the ratio and I don't plan on doing this again, but if it happens, that's probably how I'll solve it.

Thanks for all the help guys. and I appreciate the really serious advice given to me by others...but all I've got is a bit of an itch, dry skin and little red bumps. Nothing that really needs first aid.

No worries man. Just keep em moist and they'll be fine. The lotion will keep the itching and rash down.

Well mate, just toss some ph up on there, to counter react it! only joking ofcourse... haha but there are many household items that bring the ph up and counter react acids.

I have heard Lemon Juice? works to bring ph down and it makes your elbows soft too

no PH down isn't a stain. it's basically acid burns which are deceptive until you've run into them a few times. first you just think you have dry skin that's causing an itch....then the itch doesn't go away with scratching....then the itch doesn't go away with lotion...so you kind of start freaking out(for the first few times)

nothing is visible about it except the bumps if you're burned a bit.

I should mention that acid burns can be really bad and deadly and shit if you over do it. I didn't let it get that far.

I heard lime juice ? works too. and prolly leaves your elbows soft too. Better than the itch and burn from the acid you have been using. Just imagine soft elbows and lime scented plants J/K but you will have lime scented elbows if you use it there.

Sincere apologies I am confused as to what the question was then, I thought it was being asked that for future reference is there a safer chemical that one could use to lower water PH (Lemon/Lime was my answer and then I added that both of those even if spilled on you will only cause your elbows to be softer rather than burn you severely.

Yes YES of course if you accidentally spill Acid on you I have heard that baking powder poured over it will stop the burn and nutralize the Acid as well. Any one else agreee or disagreee? I know this works for battery acid.
