First Fogponics Grow

hahaha..Im going to see my daughter.

I tried out the full spectrum bulb and it gets a little warm, which is fine because I won't need to get another heater for the hydro setup I'll have when I transfer the first 2 plants to my next setup for vegging.

Which by the way, im designing something custom so when I get back from Cali I can build it. Im thinking going with ebb and flow style, or my same style... separate buckets but rather than fog...misting directly on the roots with a water pump from underneath.

Nice dude. After researching ebb&flo I really liked it better then DWC. Sounds like fun.

Have a great time in Cali, cherish the moment and bring me back something cool :D

yea, ebb and flow is kinda poopy because your roots get tangled up and what not. You have plants fighting for space or not enough space.

Im thinking Percolator style, in a 5 gallon bucket.

Yeah that actually looks pretty bad ass.

I found this I just might do this: https://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=/#/watch?v=IDwqsW4fO3w

It'd be perfect for a mini cab.

As long as your plants are in separate buckets you should have NO FIGHTING at all.
It's fine I the roots get tangled with there own, just not with each other. You have clamp lamps, so you can direct the light as you wish, instead of have them fight over one big light. You're on a roll

;)

Seed 1 has not broken shell yet, Seed 2 has broken and is curling out as of last night.

UPDATE:

Both seeds have broken their shell.

Seed 1 is poking out a little
Seed 2 is completely out of its shell but has barely sprouted towards the light. Just a tiny stem

Those are the tap roots.

The seed will eventually flip over by itself. Or you could pick it up very gentallly with some tweezers and put them right side up.
It's bad for a tap root to be exposed to light.

If you did it now. You would see Mad Results in the next 24 hours

Good reading subject. .. By I would ask the latter. What happens in nature of a seed falls upside down?

I'll flip one and check the difference in growth. Which kind of isn't fair cause 1 is already further than the other.

ASAP tear the cube mostly in half... use something to move the cotyledon so it faces up, then squeeze back together. You might need to tie it

The cubes are too wet. This will drown and rot the seedlings

So last night I decided to put the seeds in their grow chambers, seed 1 not much change but seed 2 is a plant. It's got 2 baby leaves.

I should add, use an eye dropper to water until you see a fair amount of roots coming out the sides/bottom of the cubes; only then move to the fogger
