what confuses me is how people seem to be 50/50 on whether feminized seeds are good or not. I can't think of a better idea than feminized seeds, but if they're BS and you don't pay full attention to the sex, you could end up spending over a hundy for a bunch of hermies and males. But then again... Wouldn't it be nice not to worry?

I know this is an old post but I've bought fem seeds and never had a male. However, one of the four were hermies.

haha yeah I would not touch feminized seeds. Nature should be left alone that way :P speacialy for the price compard to regular strains.

Get 2 pure(almost pure at 99.9%)silver coins and get a 16v adapter and wire each coin to one of the negative and positive lines. Careful, very dangerous! Just let the tips of the coins go into a bucket of water, plug in and drop seeds in for about 30 seconds. Unplug and take seeds out and germinate.

after too long in 12/12, most fems will start spitting out bananas (of course, know how long a strain flowers for... 16 weeks might be a long time for some... but for some sativas, you shouldn't harvest anyways till then... so know you're stuff if feminizing seed...)

What an appalling attitude.
I for myself don't grow because it saves me money, I actually enjoy the whole process. People like you are in this only for the high and it's just sad.

When it comes to feminized seeds, I ordered some feminized Jack Herer and every single one of them turned out female.
