i read that u can give your plants i hour of light in the middle of the dark period. that it will help you produce females. is that true?

absolutely not....

if anything it will fuck them up and turn them hermie, stick with a natural light cycle.
24/0 or 18/6. obviously 24/0 is not a natural light cycle, but many people use it and it doesn't mess them up. but fucking with the light cycle will not ensure a female in the least bit.

I wouldn't use any less than 18 hours of light a day for the veg cycle. Go any lower and you may risk hermies or pre-mature flowering.

i have mine on 24/0 and one of my plants has ridiculous pre flowers..im hoping she will remain sexy and not grow balls though.

cycles 18/6 , 20/4 & 24/0 or between 18h-24h at day but what cycle u start or choose, stay with that dont change the cycle what u choose!!!

then flow is 12/12 i think u know that... i use 20/4 or 24/0 always. only once i use 18/6 but the grow is slowly then ( not slowly, its normal ) but 20/4 or 24/0 the grow is faster.
