new starter info required please

hi there i have just been given my freinds mother plant that he has taken over 20 cutting from but he is now on his way to prison (long storey)
i have never grown for harvesting before and would like a little help on the full process please.
so far i have taken 15 cutting to clone ive cut dipped in hormone and planted and now just waiting to see if they live.
i live in the countryside and where i am it has dried up to the point that no one can find any smoke locally so i decided to change that to help fellow freinds
(i dont smoke it myself only tailormade cigs)
what sort of time period is it going to take to get my plants to the flowering stage as they are only cutting/clones at the moment

Are you growing outside? It's sounds like it. Well if you to answer your "How long will it take to get to the flowering stage" question there is no right answer, marijuana will grow and grow and grow, most growers will grow there plants to two thirds (2/3) of the over all height they wish to obtain then they will turn there lights to a 12/12 light cycle. Before that, for vegging some growers go with a 24/7 or 18/6 light schedule.

If you are growing outside you will have to plant accordingly to the height you wish if youwould like 4 1/2 to 5 foot plants plant them towards the late part of May or early June. If you want trees then go ahead and plant after your locations last frost is. Midwest is about "Mothers day"

i am growing inside in a wardrobe so far untill i finish a box which i am building its going to be about 4x4 foot and about 1.5 foot deep front to back
i have a 24hr light at the moment which is about 4 inch`s above the plants
i want to grow to sell to freinds so upto 4 foot plants wold be good

IT will take you about 2 1/2 - 3 months.

Well here you go my man. These are some basic rules/boundries to try to follow.

cheers for that info its great i live alone and have nearly all the items i require so the cops wont be out looking for me
i dont smoke the stuff myself just wanting to help my freinds as there is hardly anything in the area and it will give me a little extra income

ive just finished my grow box just about to install all the lighting and fans

what amount bud would you usually get off lets say 5 4foot plants as i aint got a clue never grown before ?

another question upto what stage/size of plant should i keep them on 24hr light ?

Well if you have a strain like ak-47 you could very well get up to a quarter ounce. I dought you will get a amount like that on your first grow.

It all depends on what strain, conditons, ect. I will be more than happy to help you if you post a picture of your grow area. I could help you customize it to full potental. If you are uncomfortable or don't have a camera for that that is just fine.

I suggest making a journal.

Oh, and i'm no perfessional but 2-2 1/4 feet tall in vegging then to flowering is the best idea, I can think of for 4 foot plants. Feel free to personnal message me at any time.

Try to not over water or cause your plants stress. (Esv. moving or handling // ex. touch alot!) What type of light or lights are you using.

One more thing make sure!!!!!!! you have proper venting. In my grow room my fresh air hole is lower towards the floor and my exhaust is towards the top. (Cold air floats low/ Hot air rises)

hey bobmaf, what kind of light are you using at the moment? Also plants will usually at least double in size during flowering, some even grow three times bigger. I'd suggest looking at the GROWFAQ at the top of the site.
