Im lost

ok im starting a grow area in the top of my closet at the moment i have
1) a show light with 2 fluorescent lights ( 3400 lumes each 40 watts 3000k)
2) 1 small weed plant (species unkown)
3)a clamp light with a 2000 lumes 30 watt so a total of 8800 lumes on 1 plant

heres my questions im in veg state running lights at 18/6
1) do i have enough light
2) when i go to flower will a 400 watt Metal Halide light plus shop light be enough
3) where can i get a cheap ph tester
4) does the plant look ok?
5)how long to veg

How far are your lights?

That should be enough, I used 4 26w cfls for mine under a reflector. if u have an MH y dont u use it for veg.....thats what they're mostly used for..but flower can be done at anytime...i usually let mine get to at least 8-10inchs before flowering. Ur plants looks really streched and can use a transplant and that stem buried. So for the next week, u need to transplant into a bigger pot, bury the stem. Put that mh on it at 18/6 or get a reflector for ur floros

my camera suck the new area im growing in is all white around it i have the lights about 4 and 1/2 in away i have been growing that plant for about 3 weeks now but i dident find this site till resently so now i got it on 18/6 i cant buy the mh bulb yet gota wait till friday and the medium i have it planted in is a chia pet growing spounge so im not sure how to transplant

u mean one of those clay things? if its just an "sponge" u can just place it in the pot and fill with dirt. Once u get more cash or something look into an hps conversion bulb for ur mh ballast. Next time just go straight with dirt, its easier.

Dont use a mh for veging? That is what ya use. hps for flowering. Both will work start to finish. Transplant into some good soil soon like he said.

would let vegg for at least 3 more weeks ,,,, can get 26 W 6500K cfl;s from walmart ( daylight color) ,,, can get a hps from home depot for 50 $ i have a 70W hps from HD & works well ,,, can get ph tester with ph up & down , from walmart for 12$ ,,,

Is nirvana a good site to buy from and whats good if so (i live in the morman state in the USA)
im not sure if the sponge will breakup if i put it in a bigger pot with like mirical grow
the lights i got at walmart same with the shop light got the highst one there which was 3400 lumes each 2nd best was their growing bulb with 1700 lumes i got a total of 8800 lumes on it if my camera was shitty i would take a pic of it but i cant too bright for it

ya nirvana is good....but before u plant the seed ur about to buy i would really do 1 more grow with some bagseed or sumthing free to practice,,,u wouldnt wanna drop 40 bucks and not get the most out of it....imo
