Ok so I am having some issues in keeping tempatures down in my cab. my dimesions are 6'l x3.5'd and 4'h I am using a 600 watt hps with cooltube which has a 6' inline that exhausts the heat right out side. I also have another 6" exhuast fan that vents old are out the front portion is pretty open with a netted door. I have 2 oscillatign fans as well. temps where high 90's when I came home today! any ideas on keeping it cool? My next step was to just put an AC unit in there but if there is something simpler please suggest.

thats weird that the temps are so high. it sounds like you have plenty of ventilation and exhaust and your space is large enough. what kind of cab is this?

i really think with the fans and exhaust you have caligurl you have covered all the bases,think you are right about needing a ac unit in there!!!! good luck and report back might find something to help you!!

Wow, sounds like you have the ventilation issues taken care of. What is the temp like in the room where you keep your cab? It may be time to add an a/c or move the cab indoors for a cooler environment. Good luck!

Where are you taking the temps from?? Is it right by the lights or where the plants are. A few feet either way will make a few % different.

It's probably because your purple font is so hot! or is it those feet?!

I guess rockfish is on the right track...are you making sure to take in cool air? i.e is your intake low enough to the ground? What are the temps like surrounding your cab?

My temps are taken from the tops of my plants which are less then 6" they are 22" away from the light. The cab is in an enclosed garage that is 15'L x8.5' w x 8.5'h I usually leave the garage door open half way. I live in the middle of desert so I can do this my dogs sleeep in there at night. Ill post pics of it in my journal, Im going to put ac in there, im sure that will work

I havent measured I think it is a little under half the height of the cab. but how low should it be?

sounds like you have the ventilation end of things covered..... id agree with AC or to take it indoors to a cooler place. heres a question no one asked you, what are the temps in your garage? if its already to hot in your garage, you wont be able to cool off your growspot unless you AC it...
