Hi,

Since I started flowing under a 400W HPS, My room temps have dropped to around 21-22c I was wondering if I could safely lower the light as temps don't seem to be such an issue at the moment?

I have 3 thermometers in the room, Two among the plants and one hanging at plant top level directly under the light.

The light is currently at 14" from canopy level, and I'm considering dropping it an inch.

What do you think?

how old are ya plants?i have mine about 10-12 inches above my plants,,i know i can get it closer coz i have a oscilating fan blowing over the tops of um but there too young at the mo,,,,,

My plants are,

Clones
AK47
22days,
20cm tall.
They are growing in DWC and are looking real healthy (Tuch wood)

The Light is currently 14 away from the tops of the plants I want to lower it to 12 or 13.

I also have an ossilating Fan between the light and the plants.

Thats 14 inchs

it will be fine to lower it.

you should put your hand where the tops of your plants are. if your hand gets hot. then its too close to the plants.
