Default When should i remove leaves?
hi,this is my first thread on here .i am growing 2 plants in my shed,they are now at 4 weeks in the flower cycle.some of the top leaves are now big.should i cut them off to give more light to the lower area.and how do they look? i not sure of the strain as they came from a bag of green i bought.

thanks jomal,is it then only a good idea to trim the leaves off if space becomes an issue.which i don't think will be my prob as i only have 2 plants.i am using hps 200 w i think.and feeding with canna flores.i am looking forward to learning a lot from this site.

The leaves are what absorb the light to make your plant grow....your HPS has enough penetration you don't need to trim

your better off trimming some of the lower spindly growth at the bottom of the plant, maybe up to 1ft up the plant from the bottom. Because this will supposedly give more energy to the top buds where u would get small weak buds at the bottom anyways. But never remove big fan leaves, especially ones near the top.

I had a mate tell me to trim all the big leaves off.!!
This didnt sound rite to me so i left them on, bloody glad i did too.
hell of a better batch than my first grow.
