Updated Bubbleicous.
Alright, so didn't go to well my first time around... tried to grow bagseed with incandescentsSo i bought afew things since then, and my fem/auto bubbleicious should be coming in today or tomorrow
So THIS will be my "first" grow, wish me luck! Bubblelicious feminized + autoflower
Predominately Indica, flowering period 6-8 weeks.
Small space, I have somewhat of a walk in closet divided into 2 sections, it's taking up the right section. I have mylar covering each wall as well as below the bucket, i taped together 3 x 30g trashbags to block light from leaking, i also attached mylar to the other side of the "bag wall" (facing the plant) *pictures below*

-Growing in miracle gro moisture control/earthgro topsoil about 80/20 in a 5 gal. bucket
-I have 1 osculating fan and sheets hung up for exhaust.
For lights -
A large reading lamp with makeshift reflector (mylar and cardboard). <- 2 x 26w/100w equiv. 5000k 1600 lumen spiral cfl & 1 x 14w/60w equiv. 3300k 900 lumen cfl spiral (I heard blue&red with emphasis on blue for veg/red for bud can be helpful)
A power strip hanging down with wall to socket adapter with one more of the 26w cfl for seedling, since i cant move the lamp
A lamp with one of the 26w cfls
I also bought a 4 pack of the 3300k for flowering, (was the warmest i could find @ homedepot at the time)

I'm only growing 1 bubble @ a time due to lack of light/space, i'm not as concernd with weight because i'm not selling, i'm 100% looking for DANK shit for me and friends to enjoy. Wont be taking any shortcuts with drying and curing. I'll folow this thread up all the way to the final bud completely dried+cured

Also was wondering how difficult SOG would be for first timer? I could get some chicken wire and was thinking it would help since i wont have much light for side growth?
Any advice on that would be really helpful
I know most about SOG dont need a rundown on what it is, just advice for my current setup or ideas
Generally, it's just average smoke at best. It's more about yield then quality with this strain. SOG isn't that hard, and this is probably a good strain for it- just be prepared for a long veg period. I'd also consider adding more light, as long as heat isn't an issue inside the box.

Nah, it actually gets pretty chill in there. and i'll be getting a few more y-splitters for the lamp and 2 more wall to socket adapters to put on the powerstrip so i can have 4 x 26w's and 4 x 14w's on the plant @ all timesOriginally Posted by SSHZ
I've been changing the set up alot waiting for the seeds to get here, they finally arrived 2 days ago in the mail, germinated 1, sprouted last night, put in soil about 10 minutes ago.. got the power strip above it with 2 wall to socket adapters with 1 ysplitter on each, in total i have 4 x 26w 5000k/1600 lumen cfl's with reflector. I'll be adding alot more when it gets bigger. but i figure that'll be fine for now. I'll have pictures when it sprouts, very very excited!

^ Took the screen off the top of the pot and lowered the lights to about 1 1/2 inch away from soil, able to lower and raise power strip when needed.

and the seed popping out as we speak! Checked on it i'd say 6 hours ago, and it's just now starting to stick it's head out! sprinkled some water around it and will be checking on it in the morning. Pictures will come as soon as it shows itself alittle more!
UPDATE MY NIGGAS -
It's been 3 days since I put the seed in the ground, I went to check on it and had the pleasure of watching it drop it's seed casing and actually start to open up!

^ Came home to find this little thing poking it's head out of the soil, was so excited i left the grow room door open to keep an eye on it!

^ About an hour later I went to check on it, to find that it had dropped it's shell and started to open its self up!

Seems like she's been doing really well!
9/12/2012 - She started to perk up alittle bit, i covered alittle bit of her stem with soil incase she starts to stretch and droop.

9/13/2012 - Everyday I look at this plant it gets me so happy! It's still looking great to me, if anyone sees something wrong definatly let me know!

Here's what i have her in at the moment, get paid on the 20th gonna get some hang down reflectors for when it gets taller.
(lights are 4 26w 5000k cfl's on power strip hung with shoe strings)
