Hey everyone Im new to this site but not too new to indoor growing, I used to have a pretty upscale system goin on but I had to stop due to my living situations (aka I moved) but Im planning on picking it back up just without intent on selling any just personal use ya know. I was just wondering if 1-100 watt cfl would be sufficiant enough for a rubbermaid tub with two plants in it. I intend on training the plants so its like sea of green, sorta. But my main concern is lighting. Do you think that the 100 watter will put out enough lumens?

I've used 100 watt cfl's for some time. They work well, but I use one per plant. I have seen 200 watt cfl's (u-shaped tubes instead of spiral) but have yet to purchase any. They're about $15, but could be well worth the price. Anybody had experience with these?

15$ for 200watt cfl? where did you find that?!

So you guys are saying I should use two 100 watt cfls for the rubbermaid tub/tote whatever? And I also have a couple little (I think) 24 or 26 watt tube flouros. They're like 20 inches long and I was thinking about putting them on the side of the tub when the plants get older, sound like a good idea??

Yes plz tell i wanna know to ....if u can get 200w cfl for 15$ (wich i seriously doubt it) get about 75$ of them (1kw of fluoros will put out some brightness into ur plants )...now seriously as long as u can keep the temps in the right values u can add as much light as u can afford, i´ve seen dudes garden´s where plants need to wear shades

Omega did you see that barrel of green from DrPot yesteday. I thoght it was real interesting. It ends up being totally contained in about a 2' area.

i just came back from true value and got three 100 watt cfl,s for a $1.71 do ya believe that shit its but you can only get ten per custumer and you have to fill out an instant rebate but it took me at most 3 min at most well worth it know i will send the ol lady he he he

Please tell me where, i want a 200watt for £7.50
