Power Consumption

So I am thinking about boosting my grow area, I recently moved out and have a new place and halve a whole apt to grow in. Wondering if for one huge grow 5000w would be asking too much for 4 months? Just a thought to try to go big. Ive done a few grows with a 600w and I think i would be able to get an amazing batch of high qual. bud. Waht do you all think. riskkyy?? smart, stupid..??Woulduse the bedroom... start w 2 1000 w mh, then switch to 5 1000w ...2 mh 3 hps??

and the apt better be bigger like a 4-5 bedroom apartment

i figure its like this. common sense would tell me i could safely run up electricity. why? shit, why not. im always alround electronics and gadgets and shit like that.....i know how consuming electronics and appliances will suck up power. with that said, i say give or take, you can probably run safely 1k watts/per room....

you understand what im saying? think about it like this. a 4 bedroom house with a family(out of sight, out of mind) is bound to have mad shit turned on. We're talking at least 1 tv and computer PER room. Im pretty sure that right there is at least 1000 watts ALONE. Start adding the blow dryers in bathrooms, stereos!!!! dont forget the microwave POPCORN!!! what about portable heaters? portable fans? you are forgetting how much juice it can suck up!!!!

always base your usage on how big of a house/space/apt/whatever

yes that is true be very careful man beacuse the electric man that comes once a month can tell which room is running how much power and they will snitch on ya man

How can the electric man tell you which room is running the most electricity? That i can't beleive.

Well i did some investigating, and you can see the exact kwh on each apartment, these usage boxes are right on the side of the building, so ilooked at the one bedroom arartment buildings and the most that was being run was 20,000. Do people come around and check monthly honestly? and for me i would only be running the 5 1000 watters for 2 months, then moving out. Any new sugestions??
