looking for 1000' watt MH/HPS bulbs

I believe that a 1000watt mh or hps bulb, regardless of which brand, produces roughly the same lumens (I dont mean mh and hps produce the same, I mean MH from company A and MH from company B produce roughly the same lumens". It's a matter of how long they last at the rated lumens, quality and how deep your pockets are....

correct me if I'm wrong

the only bulbs that are different are dual spectrum bulbs.

for example a powerplant dual spectrum bulb has more blue light than red light.

a grolux dual spectrum has more red light than blue light.

i like to use these bulbs throughout the grow as they stop stretch and they keep internode spacing to a minimum and i get a 2 ounce yield from seed to 80 days in soil.

i was using the grolux but i am going to try one of the other brands this grow and compare.

or do you use only the ones your ballast manufacturer recommends I just bought a Lumatek 1000' watt MH/HPS so I will look at there website and see what I can find out

This bulb it has 150 thousand lumens they say 130 thow its a mis print
This bulb is great for flowering best bulb you can get for the money just as good
as other bulbs i would suggest changing bulb every 4 to 6 months
6 months if you using just 12/12
or 4 months if your using it for veg and flower

To me, they all work the same.Just find one that's in your price rang.

My buds look nice, frosty, smoke just as good, with $30 bulb, or $100 bulb.
