T5 vs t12, old shop lights for cloning??
Well getting ready to fire up the eZ cloner for the first time.I have a 6 bulbs, t5, setup, and a shop light setup.Both are four feet long, but the shop lights are only 2, bulbs and are 36w each.Where my t5 are 54w and can run just 3 of them for now?
I've been cloning for a good month or two, and know low watts work on my dome setup?So I'm thinking to just clone with the t12 setup??
Anyone think other wise?

Yeah chk the temps of the res. I'm no hydro expert but I borge it should be kept at 70..
the shop light is perfect for cloner, they need very little light. i never worry about cloner temp, they like it a little warmer, around 75. its not like you have roots to rot.
Thank's got it running good.Temp stays at a good 78-79f, water temp is at 72f, it says???
I'm going to get a new water temp reader, today.
petsmart started carrying a new aquarium thermometer that is made much better for $10.
Thanks, was going to go to Lowes, but petsmart is right there too, so I'll look at them both
