Default Very first grow as a patient, DWC. Advice?

Hello my dear brothers and sisters of the leaf.

I have just started my very first grow! I have 4 5gallon bucket DWC going right now with 2 green crack, and 2 Cheese plants growing.
I am using mastersoul nutrients and am following the guide for seedling/vegweek1 and my ppm is about 480 and my ph is sitting at about 5.7-6.1 depending on each pot.

I transferred soil to hydro, using rockwool to support base and put the roots down in the water, surrounded with hydroton (no crushed or broken roots)
I have 2 lights, F24 T5 HO, its a 2lamp 2' fixture. input voltage = 120v-240v, it says .52 amp @120v and .26amp @240v. I know nothing about this lamp except that it is my blue spectrum lamp, but i have no idea how powerful it is ( I got a deal on 2 craigslist lamps and a tent for 300$ so I definately made out with a good buy.)
anyways, the 2nd light is Sun System, 150 Watt HPS lamp.

I have had the plants (seedlings/1week veg stage/clone) under 24 hours light of the blue light I mentioned first. How far away should this light at this power be from the top of my plants?

Would it be beneficial to use the other lamp instead? or supplement?
I have pictures and would gladly share them with anyone willing to give advice.

Also accepting any advice about lights, temperature, nutrients and water ph/nutrient balance!

    Thanks everyone!

Your T5 lamp is too high, your plants will stretch, lower your light, I keep my T5 abt 3 to 4 inchk, keep and eye on it, you may have to raise it if you signs of burn. Also you'd be better off with flat white background rather than foil or mylar, whatever that is you're using. Flat white will reflect better. Not sure having foil at the base of the plant ( on the pot ) is a good idea....Grow on my friend, you're on your way.

Hey, Thank you for the reply! I bought the netpots, tent, and lights from the same guy, didn't put the tape there myself, but its pretty reflective. and thank you, I'll do what I can to lower the light. unfortunately I only have a set amount of light to work with... Hmmm... what should I do? maybe I'll attach it to wire hangers to the straps and give it another foot or so closer to the plants!

I hang my light on chains with small hooks attatched to the light so I can adjust the hight as needed, unfortunately my plant is in dark now and can't show pic but I think you get the picture. An other thing I ment to mention, with the light lowered you may not get the spread to cover the 4 pots you have, you may have to buy a 4 lamp system.

I noticed that, I was able to get them in a sort of z formation under the light... they are all within 5 inches of the light no more than 30 degrees out. I believe its going to work. i used wire hangars and it seems to work, although it may look a bit ghetto .

    Thanks again!

I can use 24 hour light as long as I want right? Is there a need for a dark period during veg?

Personally I believe in 18/6, there are many who say it doen't matter but I believe that the plant should have a rest period. The question to me is where on earth do animals and plants live 24 hrs without rest. Plants need rest too to absorb the nutes and process sugars heal and what not. 'course that's just my belief. Good idea in puting you plants in a sort of Z formation, should work, time will tell.
