need answers on growing

Im a complete noob, but this topic is beat like justin bieber at the georgia state penn. What are you growing? Search bar is magic answers to almost everything.

veg 18 hours light on and 6 off or 24 hours light. flower or bloom 12 hours lights on 12 hours lights off.

but i don't recommend 24 hours of light unless you're cloning or cracking seeds

12/12 for flower, everything else is more preference.

24/0 does use 25% more electricity than 18/6 for no difference in growth. Just sayin'

ye agree .. tho I like to runn my 20/4

dont realy mather much .. some belive in 24/7 and claim they grow a littel faster ..
some belive it is`t natrual and they need dark time ..

I like to safe a bit of eletricity (even tho some also claim turning on and off use more .. I can only say to them Ppl... get some new T5HO electronic fixturs insted of them old T12 you runn)

I also like to safe my lamp/tubes .. most Ppl. overlook this .. tubes have a life time of a year or so .. depending on how much they run (look for darkning at the ends) T5 and T5HO is superior to T8 and T12 ad they loose so littel light over time compaird and also last longer ..

so its realy up to you .. what fit you .. Veg is easy .. flowering is wher you need to be carefull .. with light leakes and light doing night time aso.

I also like to go down a bit .. slowly .. to stress the plants as littel as possible ..
what I do .. I veg under my T5 for 4-5 week .. then I move em under my 600W HPS .. but I continue with 20/4 and go down a hour a day or so ..
so I end on 12 after a week ..

this is not true, if your using t-5s on 24 with your moms they will grow slower vertically. i feel like vertical growth is slowed in 24hr light. i use it to slow the veg down to buy time if the bloom room is too full
