Whats the best short variety for a pc grow SOG setup?
Gonna be buying a pc grow box. Wondering which strains lend themselves to this sort of setup? I know everyone has different opinions but this will help me plan ahead. Many thanks. Bigjoint

Hey man. I really dont think the sog method will work to well in a PC tower. I have rarely ever seen a plant grow less than 12" tall even 12/12 from seed get taller than that. I did a PC grow over a year ago that yielded over an ounce from one plant. I would go more on the lines of scrog than sog. If your looking for some help shoot me a PM. Hi Penyajo. Thanks for the advice. I read your pc grow thread, very informative. Gutted though, for some reason stopped after your at the third internode, i wanted to see your lady all dressed in her best!! I've been window shopping on the internet and ive chosen my box and light. Im after a 3 foot tall box from stealth hydro and im gonna replace the cfls with a 300w led block from esoteric hydro. Cant get fox farms here in the uk so gonna use biobizz complete and add some perlite. Not sure what nutes to use? Thought about canna. Im gonna use bloombastic when i come to flowering. Ive been reading some of the grows on riu and am overwhelmed by the ammount of different nutes there are. Does molases make the ladies sweeter? Oh i tried to pm you but couldnt work out how to (pretty new to riu) Speak to you soon dude, thanks again bigjoint

Yo buddy, i love pc growsHave you already bought the pc grow box? if not i would recommend investing in a server case just for the height and you can pick 'em up fairly cheap... Just cover the walls in mylar or flat white paint add a few cpu fans and cfls and you're good to go
As for strains, maybe an AF seeing as its your first grow, or a Northern Lights, hope i helped.

Def northern lights, I have seen soooo many pc grows with nl, lst it and maybe scrog if you want.
you could do far worse than black label seeds $28 masterkush. it's pretty fast & compact & flips itself under 24 hour light. it makes nice amounts of resin and the buzz isn't hideously stony. it isn't a high either, but a decent mid. odor level is reasonably low. i had 3 phenos that all smoked about the same, but the one that had deep dark red bracts that turned a sort of rusty brown purple with some curing was the sexiest. the color was really intense like you see on dark red anodized aluminum sometimes.
if you wanted something crazy sticky, stony & stinky and could even find it, flumpy's lowdown mystery is roadkill for your PC. i wish i'd bred something to it when i still had those cool freebies. it was the first time i saw buds in my grows.
if you want to get high, sativa trans-love can act like a lowryder if you can train it and prune it. i prunned & topped my freebie for SCROGging and as soon as i flipped it, it just started making a flat top of buds faster than anything else except the auto kush skunk. it stopped stretching immediately when it flipped too. you could make that work in a cab, especially if you harvest early as it makes a fair amount of bud just 60 days from seed where other strains are just getting into flowering. it's like road runner... *beep beep* hi.
Jack's Cleaner 2, Sweet Haze, Haze x Skunk & 8 Miles High are all much fun, but fluffy, fuzzy 1985 Columbian Gold popcorn's that trippy! Thai? Malawi Gold? Mekong Haze (Cambodian)? Don't know.
