Hello peeps. ive just had my 1st crop come off. i am using 4 bubblers in a 1.2x1.2m squared room with 600w light. For first ever time i surpose its ok ive got around 8oz from 4 plants (i think thats real bad).
so i would like 2 know how can i get bigger weights from the system i am using? what nutrients ect.

2 ounces a plant seems acceptable for a first grow. There is no real trick to getting better yields, it's just something that will occur as you get more experience, and learn what your plants really like and what style of growing they prefer etc. While some utrients are better than others, there's not that much between them and going from one brand to another will not give you a monumental improvement. A lot of members on this forum i've followed who#ve obtained huge yields have done so with cheap as chips nutrients, no ph'ing etc, they just know what their plants need.

yup, next grow your weight will increase for sure man, my first grow thats what i got. about 2 Oz per plant. second grow was a flow because it was my first indoor grow and i just didnt have the setup. 3rd grow i took over 1 pound wet weight off 2 plants and one of the plants was chopped 4 weeks early, dried ill get probally 3 oz off one and 5 oz off the other.

So basicly just keep at it and try differnt ways of manipulating and trimming the plant ect, might try growing in dirt this time people i talk to get better results from dirt.

actually, hydro will generally far outperform soil grows when it comes to yield, there is however the argument of whether it tastes as good etc. But going from bubblers to soil i can only really see your yield decreasing.

Exactly. Learning proper canopy control was the biggest single improvement I made as a grower. I tried the nutrient switches, I tried the different growing methods. What it came down to was not trying to grow X number of plants, but trying to grow 1 canopy. The more flowering positions you can have in a canopy while using the maximum amount of space, the more weight you will get. How long to veg, when to top, how many times to top, how much pruning, etc. will all help you learn to create a good canopy.

This is 4 plants about to start week 5, topped once, vegged for ~2.5 weeks in ~4x4 space. Next run I'm going to use a trellis as these plants became too heavy to support themselves and I hated tying them up

I used to grow 9 plants in the same space with no intention of ever creating a canopy...I've literally almost doubled my weight since I started paying more attention to how I was maximizing the use of canopy space.

    I agree!

Creating a canopy or scrogging is the way towards creating great yields......... The more bud sites the better!....

Thru my experience I have found that pruning all the useless branches away is really really good for the plant and for Yield......

My last grow it wasn't the tallest plant that yielded most - nor the plant with the most colas - it was the plant that had the Least Colas because it had been pruned more severely than the rest - and it yielded the most!

This time I am going to use the screen to help support the heads! Last time I didn't put a screen in - and still had way too much free canopy space......

A Screen helps you use ALL available space! Making sure you do not waste your time - space - and effort.......
God created ALL this Weed - why isn't he on the FBI's most wanted List?! (haven't they figured out who's supplying us with this shit?)
