1: If i use BLACK GOLD , i should w8 26-30days before adding my Fox farm Grow Big And Fox Farm Tiger Bloom? I also Have B-1 tho. Can i add it before the 26-30 day w8 period?

2:Should i keep using My Florecent lights(cant tell u spef. i have no idea but there 2x bulbs about 4feet long and white) until my plant is about 7inch tall than swich to my 400watt Mh light and than swich to my HPS light when i go down to 12/12?

3:I bought a Soil Ph Meter , do i need to get a water one? Will the Ph of my soil matter or will the Water ph lvls matter? The answer probly is both but what im asking is the water more important?

4: is 70-85 a good range for my temp?

5:This is what i got.Plz List any items i should have that you do not c here

6:How Far away should i hang my MH light? 1 1/2- 2 1/2 feet?

7:For my first time i did a 16/8 shedcule there whole life so far. I have had 2 die on me and i think 3 more on the way. I started with 18.Im thinking for my next time should i do a 24/7 shedcule? Would this make my plants grow better? and if so for how long?

1. I have no idea. I haven't used Black Gold.
2. Lights are very important. Any fluorescent bulb will not do. If you are vegging specifically you need "cool" bulbs that but off a kelvin range of 6500. That's a good blue spectrum for vegging. Furthermore, trust me from personal experience T12 bulbs suck. T12 bulbs are like the kind they sell in wal-mart for your kitchen and bathroom places. T5 High Output fluoro's are soooooooo much better. If I were you I would be finding out what kind of light they are, what their kelvin range is, and how many lumens are put out per square foot. It's very important. Plants should be getting a minimum of 3000 lumens per square foot.
3. Both pH and a moisture meter are extremely important. Having a pH meter will help you test and recalculate the pH of your water/nute cocktail for your plant. Getting the pH right will aid the plant in uptaking nutes efficiently. A moisture meter will let you know when your plants need to be watered, so you don't over do it.

5. I don't see a pH kit. You definitely need to invest. You need to be able to adjust the pH of the water/nute cocktail you give your babies. a pH too high or too low will kill them.
6. I don't use MH or HPS, but I do know that for a medium watt system the lights should be 12" to 36" away if your not scroggin.
7. I see a 16/8 schedule? Hmm...I don't think I have ever heard of that before. I know 18/6 is very good for plants because it promotes better root growth. Looking back on my first grow I wish I had done 18/6 instead of 24/0 simply because the bigger and better the roots the bigger and better the plants.

There is one more thing that concerns me, the pots you are growing these babies in. They are not fit. You need to go with a container with some bendability(meaning it needs to be somewhat pliable) so that the roots can search and stretch out as far as they like so they wont be constricted. Roots need room.

My understanding from reading and a few videos is that soil PH meters are trash, you need a digital meter to measure the water going in and test the soils ph my checking the ph of the runoff after you water.

lol, I was like 16/8.....that's new! Digital pH meters I bet are great. I don't have one though. I get to test my water in a vial ^_^ and I have never had a pH problem.

i only have a soil tester. i think its broken but all my soil lvls r at 6.2 so i dont mind. Im not adding nutes for awhile so it can hold off but. what are some good cheap brand names or even just cheap ones

Well even though you are not using nutes the pH of just plain water is crucial. I tested my tap water and it was like 7.3!!!!! very bad. I don't drink it myself and I would not give it to my plants. Now, name brand what? Nutes? Meters?

I am gonna us filtered water. I cant find the name brand of my ph meter but it was only $8.75. Now i have Fox Farm-Big Grow and Fox Farm-Tiger Bloom. Im missing one more and ill have enough to do the Trio Fox Farm , wich i hear from alot of people is good.Now i bought Advanced Nutrients Ph Up and Down. and i also got some Vitamin B-1 wich has a 1-1-1.
