    Default 150w DIGITAL hps? thoughts on the product in thread....

    I was on HID hut and came across a sweet deal...or at least i think its a sweet deal.

    its a 150w ballast, bulb, and standard reflector all for $99.99. you can see it here: http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/150w-h...vsfhu=31333833

    is this worth it? i mean in comparison to a floralux, sun system, or any standard magnetic ballast 150w hps?


    ive heard the sun system 150w actually uses much more than 150w. i was thinking that problem would be fixed by using a digital ballast.

    is this what i should go with or stick to an all in 1 150w hps or a magnetic ballast 150w hps?

    How big a grow area?
    Have a great one. Advice is for folks with a legal grow and worth what you paid for it.

    i have the 150 watt sun system...or shouldi say the 165 watt sun system...i have 2 of um...work grate...idk if this helps lol

    ^^^^ It seems that they have corrected the wiring flaw on the new sunsystems 150w hps..........guy in another thread tested it and it's drawing the correct amperage now..bout time

    edit: your gonna get more coverage area with the digi kit due to the reflector design......happy shopping

    i see. so is that a yay on the 150w digital or should i go 150 magnetic?

    my space is gonna be about 2x2. most likely. i use to run 2 600s but now im scaling down and im not sure what i should do. ive only used digital ballasts in the past (ie. both 600s were digital)

    I'm back to magnetic so not to screw with the radio. Could be I got a shitty ones.
