I frequent many forums that are unrelated to my business, work and hobbies. I have no affiliation with cannabis.

Okay, so you say she *IS* in week 5 of flower... that's about what I thought by looking at her and looking at the yellowing of the leaves, I still think you may have overwatered her at one point, but the placement of the yellowing leaves looks pretty typical for a plant starting to use up her own nutrients. I don't think you have any thing to worry about. She's looking fine and you'll be amazed at how much those buds will fatten up in the next couple of weeks.

Good luck with her and keep posting updates!

You should stick your finger into the pot about half way between the stem and the edge of the pot. Stick it into the soil up to the middle knuckle. If it is moist and sticks to your finger, don't water. As a rule of thumb, you should use 1/4 the pot size every 3-4 days. So if you have a 3 gallon pot, you'd give her about 3/4ths of a gallon every 3-4 days. But only if she is dry.

You will actually hurt your yield by keeping your roots moist. They need to start searching for water in order to grow strong. When you do water, don't pour the water around the stem, instead water around the outside edge of the pot. The soil will eventually wick the water toward the center, but the roots will grow outward reaching for it, growing strong and fibrous. If they are constantly moist, they will stop growing and will lose the ability to find nutrients to support the bud growth.

I realize that it probably tops the social faux pas charts to quote oneself in a forum, but what the heck... I had a nice picture of my recent rootball after shaking most of the dirt off. If you look close, you can see how fibrous those roots are... rather than a dozen long circling roots, I have thousands of micro roots.

That is a five gallon food grade bucket that I store my dirt in. I grow my girls in one gallon or three gallon root pots. I love my root pots and you can see that the plants roots love 'em too.
