Ive had amazing luck with my friends the lady bugs and has not had any effect on my plants besides muchin on those bastards. They just hang out in the dark then when my light comes on they are romin all over the place lookin for them...then they just either die off or leave when they've done their job. Most local nursery's have them for 8-10 bucks for 500-1000. Love how they take care of my plants. Or can go big with the prayin mantis...but havnt tried that yet. First mite you see throw in some lady bugs..done deal.

today i went to a hydro store and got MIGHTY WASH dude says it works super good to kill spider mites. i soaked them today with spray bottle and got under leaves good. it says on bottle i can you during flowering until day of harvest just do a power wash before harvest. im only using it now till mites are gone. as for the NPS no pest strip after 24 hours about 60% of the spider mites are gone. today i only used the 1000 hps for 1 hour in the morning cause duct fan is off and all vents closed. but we are looking good on getiing rid of the bastards

    Things will clear up soon.
Spider Mites are a temporary problem to a permanent solution.
You'll be off and going about your business before too long.

Make sure to spray when dark, or directly when the lights comes on.
    Cheers

Yeah Mighty Wash works.. They basically die on contact. Predatory Mites are also a good solution.

ok i checked my plants looks like i found a winning combo... there seems to be nothing left maybee 10 % and they dont look like they are moving. im going to spray mighty wash agian in 2 more days to make sure 100% of these bastards are dead i put the NPS in a zip lock bag for later if needed and hooked back vents and 1000 hps and all cfl's still going need to lower down my humidity this morning after i sprayed last night it was at 99% in my tent. plants look very happy and buds look amazing.

No need to despair my friend. It’s not a disaster, it’s an opportunity. Of course there are many commercial bull shit out there that takes care of the problem in any stage but I like to do it hands on and as I saw it done many years ago before the chemical revolution and spread. You see, if the plant is a high grade seed and it is that important to you that you get upset over it, it is worth your while to inspect your plant daily for a check up and that way you catch any problem quickly and resolve it before it gets out of hand. And if the plant is a replaceable one, then you can always toss it and start a new in a clean environment. OK. Now the problem. Having mites and other pest or mold problems during flowering. If your infestation is limited and it is discovered when the bugs are on the larger leaves, then this is what I suggest you do. After you discover mites separate your plant from others. Then pour yourself a nice straight shot of bourbon, vodka, brandy or any other respectable 80 proof (40%) booze of your choice (but do stay away from any sugary booze) and get an ear swap. Inspect every leaf for signs of mites mainly discolored spots on the leaves and treat the entire leaf top and underside. Don’t do the whole plant because it will get drunk. Just rub on the 40% booze on both sides of the infected leaves. I suggest you do this every two days even though you can go 3 days and repeat the process of finding infected leaves and treating them. After 10 days to two weeks your pests are gone. Again you can do this if your infestation is limited to the fan leaves and even the secondary leaves but if you have allowed the infestation to spread to the buds, applying alcohol, even a 40% preparation will wash off some of your trichs and anabantids. But I have seen it used on buds as well and with good results. One more thing is that you can add a drop of any essential oil that you enjoy such as sandalwood, jasmine, locust, mint or any other essential oil or fragrance to your alcohol. This will improve the aromatic quality of some inferior strains as well. Hope this helps you. Another thing I like to mention here is that applying some bug repellent that has “deet” in it on a piece of cloth or cotton and placing it in your closet will also keep them out or drive the insects out of the tent. Good luck buddy.

c02 will kill all breathing things on your plant, including mites. bag em and c02 them for toxin free success, or c02 your room for the nite. it works, every time.
