Advice On Grow Cupboard Please

HELLO, Im new to growing & i want to grow 4-5 plants, my cupboard is 60" heigh 28"deep & 40" wide. What would be best wattage light, what strain would be best & also what hydro system would be best for this amount of space. Any advise appreceated cheers TOMBONG1.

that space can support a deep water culture and a 600W HPS/MH combo. too much? go for a 400W HPS or MH.

I have alot less hieght then you so i use a 250HPS, with 5 plants. they're about a foot from the bulb and they love it.

you can do 400hps in something that size but you need to make sure you have good ventilation. i have a 2x4x8 closet that has a 250w hps, and it works great though. at times i wish i had the extra wattage but i am not complaining and my last crop of 6 plants gave me about 7.5z's fully cured, so i dont think they were really complaining wither...in any event, make sure you have god ventilation if you are using HID.

as far as strain, anything not mostly sativa will be good

can i start my seeds with a fish tank u.v light it is 18" & 15watts i no it is small but i only want to sprout the seeds once about 2"s tall i was going to change the bulb to a 400watt or shall i just start with the 400watt also i think i will use a n.f.t system as i no somebody that uses this system with good results but he has got more space will ther be enough space. does any body else no any systems that would performe better in a small place.thanks for your replies ther a great help. We have now changed the cupboard about and we now have a 250watt MH light with an NFT system with a twelve inch air stone two clip on 6inch fans.
We have started by using 4 white rhino clones we have had them 3 days and they are already starting to respond to the light and the NFT system and nutrience (rhizotonic,canna aqua a+b) but the plants are starting to go yellow on the tips and some casses the whole leaf has died the new leaves look ok but can some one give us some advice please

I honestly don't know.
Could it be not enough water?
Too many nutrients?
Or light is too close?

I'm trying to help you torubleshoot cause I have no idea. I'm new to this stuff too.
