is this normal for the first pair of curved leaves to become yellow and fall off?? my plants (45) are 11 days old and i have about 5 that are the biggest with this happening to them. the rest of the plant is fine and healthy just wondering about the withering look of the cotyledons.anyone know whats up .

People don't jump to answer when the question asked is relatively simple and the info could be found by spending 2-3 minutes searching through the wealth of information that is already here.

more than just the first set. as your plant grows upward the bottom leaves get crowded out of the light and eventually die and drop off. this is perfectly normal. but i agree, this is a very basic question go outside and look up at a tree. see those lower leaves, ever notice how sometime they yellow first if they can't get sunlight? or a branch will bend to find it? you can later train your branches this way by tying them down to make them grow crooked, but that is for another thread. let's get you thru this first. lol
