I have been keeping an eye here on this variety of cheap extractor fan/carbon filter+ ducting http://stores.ebay.co.uk/the-hydroponic-shop/_i.html?_fsub=463922819

Now here is the tent i am using http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110684062330?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_8215wt_1270
This show's that the tent's 2 vent's are 16cm's/5.1 inches

Someone advised me that i purchase the 4inch fan to save money and have the filter in the top vent with the ducting coming out of the tent and leading to the extractor van... this sound's a little like it will reduce performance a fuck alot of stuff up!!

What doe's everyone suggest?? remember i would like to save money where necessary to buy more equipment like i still need a digital thermometer :o:blsmoke::joint:

+rep to those who help

Share the love + ill share it back

Hi mate.

I think it's worth spending a little extra on your filter and make sure you get a good one( could mean the difference between being caught or not). I use a rhino pro filter, highly recommended, have never had no smell leaks using it.

I use a 6" extractor and 4" intake, but if i was buying it again now, i would get a 8 and 6" with a climate control. Help you keep the perfect environment all year round.

Yeh the one rob linked I've had my eye on. Also are those tents worth the money? I suppose making one or getting someone to make one can't be that much cheaper

Don't try making one if mylar is creased or slightly folded (not on a flatish surface) it will create heat spots and burn away you're leaves :(
