so i've been vegging my querkle for a good few weeks now, and it was gettin nice and bushy..untill i hear my light fall while im in the shower.it got a little bent, and burnt but not two bad. i trimmed off the damaged leaves so it should start doin better.my grow tent finally arrived yesterday, looks nice just one thing i can't figure out..how are you supposed to cover up the vent holes your not using?i mean the point of this thing is to keep any outside light out right? how am i supposed to do that when there are like five vents?

What kind of tent did you get? If you got a secret jardin of growbox or something it should have double sided ties for your vents. If you got the cheaper one off ebay you might have to zip tie them shut from the outside then put peices of mylar or something to block light out from the inside. Hope that helps

i just got an led warehouse 3' x 20" tent (hey, apartment living's a bitch, ok?) and there's a right angle vent that comes off the top and dies right into one of the door flaps. anyone have any shots of the insides of their cabs for ventilation ideas?

best,

its been under cfl's since it was a seedling (looks great and smells good already).. can't wait to put that bitch under the 400 hps

hope your recovering plant makes it to harvest.. battle scars and whatnot
happy growing.. and good luck with figuring out your tent haha :weed:

That is definitly a cheaper type tent no offense but if you dont want light leaks you have to do what i said in my previous post and it should fix any future problems.

got the tent setup today. the light leaking doesn't matter during veg since the dark schedule is from 11:00pm to 5:00am anyway. it says 83.6 degrees with my fan blowing in the vent from outside. so i didn't have to do much to adjust the temp.

querkle in the new tent..

and i forgot to clarify it could be either one of these..

i germinated them at the same time and didn't label them, and the other one didn't sprout. a have a feeling it is querkle though.
BC bud depot the purps is mendo purps

this is my first indoor grow thats not autoflowering, so when should i start flowering for a 5'x3'x2' tent?__________________

depends on the strain but they will stretch during flowering. i would go with sasquatch's suggestion and go 1/3 of your maximum height.

nice. mines either querkle or mendo purps. i'm pretty sure it's querkle, but both strains are supposed to get nice and purple.

im germing three more seeds in a little veg box i made with a plastic shelf and an emergency blanket.
TGA jack the ripper, female C99, and TGA qleaner.
C99 sprouted yesterday, qleaner just barely broke the surface, and still waitin on JTR.
ill start a journal for them when they have there first leaves.
do you think i'll have to SOG these since the grow tent is only 62-Inch x 36-Inch x 20-Inch?

the humidity in the tent was 86% so i moved the querkle back in the closet temporarily until i clear out a space for the tent inside.

sorry you can barely see it but it's the best picture i can get at the moment.
querkle is in the middle obviously, C99 in the front, and Qleaner in the back.
i moved Jack the Ripper in the tent since there's no room for it. i might give it to a friend to grow since it's behind in growth and no room for it.

If the 62 inches is the height, and you are not using anything more than a 400 watt you should be fine as long as you start flowering soon enough.

As for that plant, whether it is querkle or not, I have been growing querkle for three years, only one phenotype though, it does look like querkle to me. My querkle only gets purple during the winter months. Try to make sure that your grow gets cool at night or during the off cycle. The pruple doesn't start until late flowering. Querkle puts out the best yield of my strains, but when you are looking at it, it looks as if it would put out the least yield. The buds don't really shrink when dried. For your Jack the Ripper, I would love to try growing that strain. Also from TGA, plushberry, would love to try that too.

Here are a couple pics of my querkle. The plant in front of me is the Querkle clone.

No, sorry, I don't have a journal of my querkle grows. I have never really done a journal before, I do have a lot of pictures of querkle, but not many on this site yet.
I just started my first grow/strain journal on some TGA test seeds. Subcool sent me and others some Qush to test. It is Pre98 Bubba Kush x Space Queen. The Qush is not available yet. I am guessing if he is happy with the results from all of the testers it may become available.

Too bad Attitude is out of stock of the Plushberry. Maybe you can find plushberry at Hemp Depot?

Don't mean to flood your thread with my pics, but I thought you might like to see these. Querkle is one of the most desired strains by my 5 patients.
