Help With Cfls

ok ive decided i cant go with a hps as im too poor and cant afford all the venting equipment, been looking at peoples cfl grows and some look pretty good.
i was thinking of getting a load of 42w cfls but where can i buy the fixtures that the cfl screws into and then goes to the socket.
btw i live in the uk

Cfls don't need any ballast as the ballast is in each bulb. You can use any standard light socket. I used those clip on shop style lights, but I've seen people get very creative in constructing their own fixtures.
You should check out russ0rs first op in the journals, and go to one of the last 3 pages. He made a cfl hood out of cardboard. You could also make a hood out of plywood instead of cardboard and attach aluminum foil to cover the entire underside of the hood, maybe plywood would be safer as far as fire goes.

you can get 125w envirolites on e bay for less than 20quid and the fittings are about a fiver with a plug on allready or you can get a pre wired reflector for about 2o quid ,u will need a blue one for vegging and a red 1 for flowering
