I opened a window and the temp dropped to 79F then fed them at 50% nute strength. The White Widow has perked back up and has returned to its color of green:mrgreen:. Put some pics up soon

So I have a question for anyone who will answer..The light I am using is a 600w MH with dimmable ballast. I haven't set it to 600 though yet. The question is when is the best time to switch it to the 600w setting?

Damn people are doing 72 hours of darkness now? lol.

I would let them get a bit bigger but you could probably switch to full 600w now.
I find hempy interesting ill swing by sometimes :P good luck sir.

None, haven't seen any grows or studies where it made any difference and i would be worried that too much could cause stress, IMHO...

I could be wrong but like i said when i first heard about it i looked up people journals and didn't notice any difference between grows.

When you want to induce the flowering stage faster than I've read many journals of growers doing this, but only if that's what you're aiming to do.

Alright so I pulled them out of the darkness about 12 hours early, moved them closer to the light (18in) and switched the light to the 600w setting this AM. They adapted well so far to the light this time around and have begun showing her female traits. Will put some pics up tomorrow. Thx to everyone who helped and keep checking in for follow-ups!!

Ive heard of some people leaving their MH in addition to the HPS during flowering because i think it produces UVB spectrum whereas HPS doesn't, and UVB helps promote trichrome production.

Just a thought but of course you are using twice as much electricity and bulb.
