i use a Brita water jug (with filter) tap water goes in 7.8 and comes out 4.5 so I use 1/2 filtered water and 1/2 tap water and it comes out 6.7 for my soil grow.

i dont see why not its jus PH, ph is jus acidity level inw ater no matter what teh water is
Thanks for the fast reply, that is what I was thinking, why would it matter, its just lower ph. What I have is spaGuard pH Decreaser (active ingredients:Sodium Bisulfate)......everyone else agree?
Thanks again for the reply and I think you are right, one more question maybe you can help me with.......I am a little confused with the pH in the fact that I have to test my soil and my water pH? Or just one or the other. Seems like if my soil pH is ok after watering then my pH in my water is ok or not affecting. Could someone please explain that to me? Thanks everyone! :) :joint:

WOW!!! What a great idea! That is using your head! I like it and will keep it in mind. I do need to get my own water pH tester, I bought one and it is just for soil I think. Now I am finding out I should test both. So far I have the Hot tub store test my pH. LOL. Kill 2 birds with one stone. :)
