lmaooooo thats too funny XD
I clipped the brown/dead tips of the little one
I wanted to top it but because its my first grow I decided to do it naturally, I don't have that many lights so I don't want to damage it and wait till it heals
My set up is giving me around 7,000 to 8,000 lumens I wonder if I need more?
I can't wait for it to bud, right now its starting to smell kinda funky and I'm loving it haha

Again, to keep in mind, 10000 lumens per sqft from the sun. Keeping the lights within 3" of the plants and close to as many lumens as the sun makes the better and tighter your buds will be.
Awesome, well its small barely a one foot setup and the CFLs are about 1.5" from the plants so I'm getting as much lumens as I could possibly get.
Quick questionIf the package says "2,600 lumens" is it talking about per square feet?
if it is talking about square feet then won't my setup get more lumens than what the package says because it is less than 1 feet squared?
The lumen rating is just overall how much the bulb produces. CFL lumens disipate and lose potentcy faster than most other light sources but thats exactly why you keep them so close to the plant.
Right now my now 4 ladies are under 11700 lumens in an area 9"x16" just enough for the little area till i finish my grow cabinet. When i do...look out! Lol Cuz i'll be going to a 3-4 month cycle to have a yr round supply of Dank buds
However i'm looking to invest in an LED setup cuz i've been reading a bunch on Nanometers and photosynthesis. And in a small cabinet i'll get as good if not better results than CFL and HPS/MH. But i'm still researching and shopping around
Oh wow that sounds amazing bro can't wait to subscribe if you put it up =D
It is day 29 and I have transferred the GWS to a massive 5 gallon... The BD is receiving side lighting and Im putting her on direct sunlight for about 4 a day because I'm more interested in growing the sativa GWS. I am watering her today with the blooming fertilizer and putting her on a 18/6 cycle (she's been on 24/0 for about 2 weeks now).
Looking good yo! You've got those bulbs nice and close, got good tight nodes. Most beginers keep their lights too high and end up with stretched plants. Keep it up
By the way, are you still considering topping you plant or just do it regular as nature meant?
haha thanks, I tried to keep them as close as I could without burning them and with this plant I'm just gonna let mother nature do her thing and next plant ill top to decide which is better for my conditions I can't wait till they start budding
My little auto's have begun to grow hairs! At least this time they've made it past the 10 day point unlike the last batch. I tried something different this time by leaving them in the veg area under 24hr 65k light. Instead of surrounding them with 27k on a 18/6 cycle
