This is my second grow... but damn i cannot stop fan leaves from dieing, it's ridiculous... last grow during veg i was fine but in flower dieing fan leaves cut my yield by tons, surprised i still managed to get a bit of top shelf... Anyways.... i'm using House and Garden base nutrients, at the right amounts per week (using little less)... FoxFarm soil-- it's about week2 into veg and just like the first time it's ONLY fan leaves... genetics are great.. this cannot happen again! They are under a 1k watt and the pH is OK for SOIL... Using distilled water, and i give them 5ml cal-mag too!! I've given them root exel/great white... please look at the pictures and tell me what could POSSIBLY be wrong so stumped on this shit!!!! mostly hoping some of you have been through this... not like the symptoms are difficult.... the fan leaves turn yellow n die, never anything but the fan leaves. peace n smoke!!!!!!!!!!!

I use about 2 cups soil (whatever your soil ratios are) and 1 tbsp. - 1 1/2 tbsp. bone meal, mix it together really well then add the mixture as new "top soil" give it a good watering and you will notice a significant difference. This always does the trick for me, and pluck the really dead ones off as soon as you can. I do this about once every 2 or 3 weeks, some plants need it more than others. There is also a lot of P in bone meal which should help with your purple stems.

ok so you know the PH of your water is 6.5, what is the PH of your soil? How long does it take for the soil to dry out completely(lifting the container you can tell its dry)? I'm thinking nutrient lockout issues of some sort, but definately check the PH of your soil itself, it might be way off, or are you overwatering? You said you are only 2 weeks into veg...if you are giving it nutrients already you might be really fucking it up...MJ doesn't need nutes for the first couple weeks...and when you do you want to only give it 1/4 strength and slowly work your way up over a few weeks to get to full strength.

Don't overdo things, if anything back off and let it chill, it looks like a MG/P difficiency, but probably due to lockout and not due to the nutrients not actually being there. I'd flush out the soil with straight water and let it sit for 3-4 days without watering, without nutes to see if it starts to bounce back...if it starts looking a little better after the 3-4 day mark just wait until its nice and dry and give it another round of straight water, repeat until its looking good, probably a week and a halfish, then you can start giving 1/4 strength neuts ;)

Also during that flush catch some runoff and test the PH of it...i think you'll find that its probably borked ;)

I agree 100%, if your giving your plant nutes already you are most likely over-doing it and in turn killing your plants fan leaves.
